1st Tournament Outing
Yesterday our ‘Little Tigers’ had a taste of their first karate-do tournament at the Setiawangsa Open Karate-Do Tournament held at the Titiwangsa Stadium, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. In all 7 Little Tigers participated in various categories of the kumite event, and 1 adult member participated in the kata event. One of our medal hopeful, Muhd. Khaleed couldn’t make it because he was down with the flu. Get Well Soon Khaleed!! Anyway in all, it was considered a succesful outing. Though we brought back back only one medal, won by Najwa Farhana for the Kumite Below 7 years old (Silver), all our team members fought with courage and tenacity, considering quite a few are still recuperating from the flu bug. The tournament started at 8.00 a.m. and ended at 11.30 p.m. Here is the progress report for our team:
1st Round Eliminations:
- Dr. Norman Mohd. Norawi (Men’s Senior Open Kata)

The Association thanks all supporters and parents who made it on that day to support our Team and thank you to IOSSKA Malaysia for their support and assistance.
